The posting

We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Barista to join our small food-stall team. You’ll prepare quality coffee, serve customers and help keep daily operations running smoothly in a fast-paced, close-knit setting.

What you’ll do

  • Prepare espresso-based drinks and other menu items to our recipes and quality standards.
  • Greet customers, take orders, recommend drinks and handle payments.
  • Keep the coffee station, equipment and service area clean and organised.
  • Restock cups, milk, beans and other supplies; let the team know when stock is running low.
  • Help with opening and closing tasks, including cleaning and basic equipment care.
  • Work closely with teammates to serve orders accurately and keep service moving during busy periods.

What we’re looking for

  • A warm, customer-focused attitude and clear communication.
  • Reliability, punctuality and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and work as part of a small team.
  • Barista, café or food-service experience is a plus, but training can be provided.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in a busy stall environment.
  • Able to work [full-time/part-time], including [weekends/public holidays, if required].
