About the role

You will be the finance lead to the brand and commercial teams of a fast-growing food company. The role owns the numbers behind every brand and market decision in the region: unit economics, pricing, promotion return, new product business cases and the financial side of the annual plan. This is the first finance seat in a regional headquarters that will grow to a full finance team; you will shape how it works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own brand and market P&L: SKU-level cost and margin analysis, price-pack architecture, trade-spend and A&P return
  • Build and run the financial side of new product development: size-of-prize validation, P&L and investment cases at each stage gate, post-launch tracking
  • Partner the marketing teams on the annual plan and in-year reallocation; translate commercial plans into financial outcomes
  • Support the monthly and quarterly business reviews with HQ: variance analysis, forecast, risks and opportunities
  • Develop pricing and promotion guidelines by market and channel, and the tools to evaluate them
  • Set the data and reporting foundation for regional finance with the data scientist in the team
  • Act as finance lead in cross-functional initiatives (localised production, new channels, partnerships) with a help from a data scientist

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in finance, with at least 4 years in brand or commercial finance in a multinational consumer goods company
  • Experience across more than one finance discipline (brand finance, revenue growth management, product supply or sales finance) is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to influence marketing and sales decisions with financial analysis, not only to report them
  • Strong P&L modelling and business-case skills; advanced Excel, experience with BI tools
  • Experience with Korean or Asian HQ reporting structures is an advantage
  • Fluent English
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or business; professional qualification (CPA, CFA, CIMA) is an advantage
