SMRT Bus Captain (Career Conversion Programme for P2P Drivers to Bus Captain)

Available on both full-time and part-time arrangements, this structured place-and-train initiative offers comprehensive sponsored training, including Class 4 heavy vehicle driving licensing and the Bus Driver’s Vocational Licence (BDVL), allowing you to seamlessly reskill while earning.

As an SMRT Bus Captain, you will be responsible for operating public buses safely, maintaining precise route schedules, and delivering a comfortable, reliable transit experience for commuters across Singapore.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform and ensure assigned bus is operationally ready and clean to provide a safe, smooth and pleasant bus journey for passengers

• Perform first and last parade tasks at the start and end of duties respectively

• Adhere to allocated driving schedule and timing

• Ensure strict compliance to traffic rules and regulations, and Company’s stipulated Standard Operating Procedures

• Perform any other bus driving and related duties that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements

• Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents aged 21 and above, possess a valid Class 3 driving licence with at least one year of driving experience

• Safe and clean driving track record
