Responsibilities:
- Analyse end-to-end freight forwarding processes (import, export, cross-border) to identify gaps and inefficiencies.
- Drive process improvements and system enhancements to optimise operations and reduce risk.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on operational, system, and data issues to enable continuous improvement.
- Standardise and simplify workflows to improve efficiency and minimise manual intervention.
- Lead EDI and system integrations with customers and vendors, acting as the key point of contact.
- Manage EDI onboarding lifecycle (requirements, mapping, testing, UAT, go-live, and post-production support).
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve system, interface, and data issues with minimal business disruption.
- Support trade compliance and regulatory processes, including customs and reporting requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy and reporting integrity, including monthly production cycles and validation checks.
- Engage stakeholders across regions and functions, supporting projects, system implementations, and business initiatives.
- Willingness to travel regionally (20–30%)
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5years of relevant working experience in similar industry
- Proven hands‑on experience engaging customers’ IT teams and/or appointed EDI/service vendors.
- Freight forwarding and IFF business processes
- Proficiency in SQL (Postgres is a plus)
