About the Role

Our client is a large-scale integrated leisure and hospitality organisation in Singapore, undergoing active digital transformation across its IT division. They are seeking an analytical and user-centric

Business Analyst

to bridge business needs and technology solutions, driving meaningful process improvements and enhancing customer experience. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and delivery, contributing directly to the organisation's agile innovation agenda. It is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned BA professional to make a tangible impact within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth business needs analysis by engaging stakeholders across departments to understand goals, challenges, and current-state processes
  • Apply Design Thinking methodologies to explore user needs, facilitate ideation workshops, and develop human-centred solutions and prototype
  • Translate high-level business requirements into detailed, testable functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including process flows, data models, functional specifications, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans
  • Analyse existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend optimised future-state solutions leveraging technology and industry best practices
  • Collaborate with technical architects, developers, and IT teams to engineer viable, sustainable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards
  • Act as the primary liaison between business units and IT teams, managing stakeholder expectations and facilitating clear, consistent communication across all levels
  • Support UAT activities and the broader software development lifecycle by clarifying requirements and resolving issues as they arise

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • At least 2 years of proven experience as an IT Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or equivalent role within a technology-driven environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency with business analysis tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or Balsamiq, and hands-on experience with both Agile Scrum and Waterfall project methodologies
  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and mediate between conflicting requirements to achieve consensus
  • Experience in e-commerce, hospitality, or integrated resort environments (is a bonus)
  • Professional certifications such as CCBA, CBAP, PSM, PSPO, or a Design Thinking qualification (is a bonus)
