The posting

We are looking for a Business Development and Marketing Intern to support our Business and Marketing, and Events function. This role will involve:

  • Assist in the preparation of client proposals, pitches, and capability statements for prospective and existing clients.
  • Conduct market, industry, competitor, and client research to support strategic business development and client engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain client databases, mailing lists and CRM records.
  • Support the planning and delivery of client events, webinars and seminars.
  • Assist with event logistics, registrations, attendee communications and post-event follow-up.
  • Provide administrative support for ongoing campaigns and team projects.

The successful candidate may be engaged through a third-party agency.

Qualifications

Your experience

  • Undergraduate student, fresh graduate, or candidate with up to 1-2 years of work experience.
  • Comfortable using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT and other generative AI platforms to enhance productivity and research.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Keen interest in business development, marketing, events and the professional services industry.
