Job Description

  1. Oversee daily manufacturing operations of timber flooring and custom wooden furniture production, manage production schedules to meet delivery targets while controlling production cost.
  2. Conduct quality assurance on timber raw materials, semi-finished and finished products; monitor wood processing, finishing and coating processes, resolve manufacturing technical issues related to timber products.
  3. Lead production team planning, workflow optimisation, implement safety protocols on the factory floor.
  4. Collaborate with product development, procurement and sales teams to review product specifications, assess timber material performance, and support new flooring/furniture product trial production.
  5. Prepare production reports, track yield and waste rate, implement continuous improvement for timber manufacturing processes.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Wood Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Furniture Design or related disciplines.
  2. Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in timber flooring or wooden furniture manufacturing plant management.
  3. Solid knowledge of wood properties, timber processing technology, flooring and furniture production workflow, quality standards.
  4. Strong project planning, cost control and team management capabilities.
  5. Good communication skill to liaise with suppliers and internal cross-functional teams.
