Job Summary

Drive business growth by leading sales strategies, managing client relationships, and executing omni-channel sales operations to exceed revenue targets in the baby products and consumer goods sector.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies across regional target markets to drive strategic growth
  • Identify, initiate, and manage new client relationships from first contact through successful conversion
  • Own the end-to-end sales lifecycle, including pipeline development, proposal preparation, and contract negotiation
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Proactively generate new business opportunities with a hunter mindset while expanding existing client accounts
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client needs and presenting tailored solutions aligned with company offerings
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives and key decision-makers
  • Lead bid and proposal processes in collaboration with internal teams such as operations, compliance, and product management
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of client solutions
  • Conduct market, customer, and competitor analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and growth areas
  • Support sales and marketing campaigns, industry events, and client engagements to increase brand awareness and lead generation
  • Establish and manage omni-channel sales operations in Singapore, including exhibitions, atrium sales, and B2B channels, ensuring timely achievement of targets

Required competencies and certifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related discipline
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or relationship management within relevant industries
  • Minimum 3 years of industry experience in business development or sales
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a structured, goal-oriented environment
  • Strong commercial acumen to identify opportunities and deliver client-focused solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to clearly articulate value propositions
  • Experience managing proposals, negotiations, and coordinating cross-functionally
  • High self-motivation, independence, and initiative with a results-driven mindset
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to build long-term relationships and trust

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience in FMCG, retail, e-commerce, baby products, or consumer goods industries
  • Proven ability to establish new distribution channels and strategic partnerships
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
