Business Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

OneByZero is a Frontier Systems Integrator building agentic AI systems for leading banks,telecommunications companies, insurers, and retailers across Asia Pacific. We work on high-impact problems for institutions that operate the financial and digital infrastructure of the region. We operate exclusively on AWS and leverage partnership programmes that provide co-sell reach, funded innovation opportunities, and delivery credibility across multiple markets. OBZ operates across nine countries and is scaling from roughly 150 to 300 employees as it grows from its FY27 to FY28 revenue targets. We're hiring Business FP&A Manager to lead the group's forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting through that growth, and to drive investor and board reporting output, including the group's rolling cash forecast.
Key Responsibilities
Forecasting & Budgeting
• Lead the annual budgeting cycle and monthly rolling forecast at group and country level - covering revenue, gross margin, opex, EBITDA, and cash flow - with monthly granularity by major cost driver
• Build the group workforce plan and hiring budget, linking revenue targets, utilization assumptions, and delivery capacity to required headcount; track actual headcount, hiring, and payroll against plan by country and function
• Run monthly budget-vs-actual variance analysis by country and cost line, driving corrective action where required
• Maintain scenario models (base/upside/downside) to stress-test the plan as revenue and hiring assumptions shift
Management Reporting
• Prepare the monthly management reporting pack - consolidated and country-level P&Ls, KPI dashboards, and variance commentary - delivered to a fixed monthly close calendar
• Lead investor and board reporting output - consolidating financial and profitability data into a single board-ready narrative with clear revenue, margin, and EBITDA bridges and actionable commentary on risks and opportunities
• Track utilization and realization from project timecard/PSA data and fold this into monthly management reporting
Cash & Liquidity Planning
• Build and maintain a rolling group cash forecast - integrating collections, payroll, hiring, project delivery, and major expenditure assumptions - to flag funding or liquidity risk early
• Flag funding gaps or surplus cash positions by entity with enough lead time to action a transfer or drawdown
Fundraising & Corporate Finance
• Maintain the investor-grade financial model (P&L, cash flow, headcount plan) between funding rounds
• Lead the financial workstream for fundraising - data room coordination, investor materials, and financial analysis - supporting transaction execution and financial due diligence
Key Performance Indicators
Performance in this role will be measured against:
• Forecast accuracy across revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, and cash - actual vs. forecast, at group and country level
• Budget variance - actual vs. budget, by country and consolidated
• Headcount and payroll vs. approved workforce plan
• On-time delivery of monthly management, board, and investor reporting against the close calendar
• Cash forecast accuracy - forecast vs. actual cash position, by entity
• Annual budgeting cycle time and adherence to planning milestones
What You Bring
• 8–15 years of progressive FP&A or business finance experience, ideally including a multi-entity or multi-country environment
• Strong financial modeling skills - forecasting, scenario planning, workforce cost modeling
• Experience preparing board-level or investor-facing materials
• Comfortable operating with incomplete data and turning it into a decision-ready narrative
• Prior exposure to a fundraise process (equity or debt) is a strong plus
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, able to work effectively with stakeholders across finance, delivery, and leadership
