An exciting 1-year contract opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to drive sourcing strategies and optimize supply chain operations in MacPherson.

  • Oversee end-to-end direct materials procurement, converting requisitions into purchase orders while resolving invoice and quality discrepancies.
  • Utilize modern digital platforms to manage supplier communications, including requests for proposals and quotations.
  • Perform detailed price analysis and conduct negotiations to identify and secure cost savings.
  • Collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders and external vendors to support project objectives.
  • Drive supplier management initiatives, including onboarding, performance evaluations, and continuous process improvements.

skills and experience required.

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years of solid experience in procurement or supply chain management across commercial settings.
  • Strong proficiency in major Tier-1 ERP systems and essential business productivity software.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset with experience participating in process optimization projects.
