The posting

Role Highlight:

  • Monday - Friday, 8:30AM to 5:30PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full spectrum of purchasing process, including sourcing, RFQs, negotiation, purchase orders and delivery follow-up
  • Review MRP requirements and purchase materials, components and equipment for production
  • Monitor supplier performance and expedite deliveries to meet production schedules
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Planning and Logistics teams to ensure timely material availability
  • Monitor inventory levels and follow established stocking policies
  • Coordinate shipments, delivery tracking and customs documentation with logistics providers
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information and procurement documentation
  • Manage supplier-related RMA (return material authorization) and non-conforming material matters
  • Analyse BOMs to support purchasing, planning and inventory activities
  • Support cost reduction and process improvement initiatives
  • Prepare weekly and monthly purchasing and supply chain reports
  • Prioritise purchasing activities based on business and production requirements

Role Requirements

  • Min. Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Procurement, or a related discipline
  • Min. 3years of relevant purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong supplier management, communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience with MRP, SAP or ERP systems will be an advantage
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Chinese-speaking candidates required to communicate with Chinese-speaking suppliers/stakeholders
