Monthly Salary: SGD $4,000 – $6,500 Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Renovation / Interior Fit-Out

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform carpentry fabrication, assembly and installation works for residential and commercial renovation projects.
  • Fabricate and install kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, built-in furniture, cupboards, shelving, doors, wall panels and other customised carpentry works.
  • Read and interpret drawings, sketches and specifications to determine job requirements.
  • Take accurate site measurements and prepare materials required for fabrication and installation.
  • Cut, shape, assemble and finish timber, plywood, laminates and other carpentry materials according to project requirements.
  • Operate woodworking machinery, power tools and hand tools safely and correctly.
  • Carry out on-site installation, fitting, adjustment and rectification works.
  • Identify defects or installation issues and carry out the necessary corrective works.
  • Ensure completed works meet the required dimensions, finishing and workmanship standards.
  • Coordinate with project supervisors, designers and other trades during renovation works.
  • Maintain carpentry tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Maintain good housekeeping at the workshop and project sites.
  • Comply with workplace safety and health requirements and company procedures.
  • Perform other carpentry and renovation-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Relevant working experience in carpentry, renovation or interior fit-out works.
  • Practical experience in fabrication and installation of cabinets, wardrobes and customised carpentry works.
  • Able to understand drawings, sketches and measurements.
  • Able to take site measurements independently.
  • Familiar with carpentry materials, laminates, fittings and hardware.
  • Able to operate woodworking machinery, hand tools and power tools.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Responsible and committed to delivering good-quality workmanship.
