Job Summary

Prepare and serve Chinese cuisine dishes while maintaining kitchen cleanliness and assisting in inventory management to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas to maintain hygiene standards
  • Prepare assigned dishes accurately according to the menu for timely serving
  • Maintain personal grooming to meet workplace hygiene and presentation standards
  • Collaborate effectively and harmoniously with team members to support kitchen operations
  • Assist in daily purchasing and receiving of goods, verifying the quality of deliveries from suppliers
  • Estimate food consumption to plan and schedule purchases and requisitions of raw materials
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Chef to support kitchen functions

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in preparing Chinese cuisine dishes
  • Demonstrate teamwork and effective communication skills
  • Willingness to work split shifts, weekends, and public holidays
