Help Shape a New Chapter in Education

At House on the Hill, we believe education is not simply about what children learn, but about who they become.

We are establishing a new Montessori-inspired student care and educational programme for primary school children aged 7–12.

Inspired by the philosophy of 知行合一 and Montessori’s approach to education for life, our programme integrates Chinese language immersion, literary appreciation, cultural heritage, independence, creativity and character development.

We are looking for passionate educators to join our founding team and help build an inspiring environment where children grow into confident thinkers, responsible individuals and lifelong learners.

Position: Chinese Language, Literature & Cultural Education Lead

We are seeking a passionate and creative 华文 educator to lead the development of our language immersion, literary appreciation and cultural education programme.

Building upon House on the Hill’s established 天天向上华文课程, this role will extend meaningful language learning into the primary school years.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement engaging 华文 immersion programmes for children aged 7–12.

* Design age-appropriate experiences in literature, poetry, storytelling, reading, creative writing and oral expression.

* Integrate 华文 naturally into daily routines, collaborative projects and cultural activities.

* Develop cultural programmes exploring Chinese heritage, traditional arts, history and festivals.

* Encourage children’s literary appreciation, imagination, communication and critical thinking.

* Adapt activities to children’s different language abilities, interests and developmental stages.

* Guide and support educators in delivering a consistent 华文 immersion environment.

* Contribute to school holiday programmes and interdisciplinary learning projects.

Who We Are Looking For

* Strong 华文 proficiency and a genuine appreciation of Chinese literature and culture.

* Relevant qualifications or experience in 华文 education, primary education, literature or a related field.

* Ability to engage children through creative, experiential and age-appropriate learning.

* Interest in literary appreciation, storytelling, poetry and cultural education.

* Understanding of children’s language development and diverse learning needs.

* A collaborative and innovative approach to curriculum development.

We seek an educator who believes 华文 is not simply a subject, but a living language that enriches children’s thinking, expression and cultural identity.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
