Role Overview
We are looking for a driven and client-focused professional to grow and retain a direct-to-consumer client base for a wealth and investment platform.
The role involves engaging qualified leads and existing clients, introducing relevant platform solutions, supporting account-opening journeys, strengthening client relationships, and identifying opportunities to improve retention and customer experience.
You will also interact with high-net-worth clients and prospects, including face-to-face meetings where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to qualified leads and prospects to introduce the platform, its services and key value propositions.
- Guide interested prospects through account opening and relevant platform journeys.
- Engage inactive or at-risk clients to understand their needs, reasons for reduced activity or attrition, and opportunities for re-engagement.
- Explain relevant platform features, services, incentives and support options clearly and professionally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Meet high-net-worth clients and prospects in person to provide platform walkthroughs and explain relevant propositions.
- Prioritise leads, prospects and retention cases based on available data and business priorities.
- Adapt communication style and messaging based on the client’s experience, needs and interests.
- Escalate complex client or retention cases to the appropriate internal teams where necessary.
- Identify recurring client objections, attrition reasons and process gaps, and provide feedback to support service and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate client interaction records and follow agreed compliance and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in outbound sales, client relationship management, business development or a similar client-facing role.
- Experience within wealth management, banking, fintech, insurance or financial services is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales, conversion, acquisition or retention targets.
- Experience working with high-net-worth or affluent clients would be an advantage.
- Strong spoken and written English.
- Confident and professional when communicating with senior or affluent clients.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and customer-service skills.
- Able to explain financial products, platform features and concepts in a clear and simple manner.
- Comfortable working with sales targets and conducting outbound client outreach.
- Willing to complete required regulatory and compliance training.
Education
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance or a related discipline.
- Equivalent relevant professional experience may also be considered.
