Consulting Manager - Banking Transformation Project

A leading consulting and transformation advisory firm is seeking an experienced Consulting Manager to support large-scale banking transformation programmes across governance, PMO, operating model design, and business change initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with consulting or financial services experience who enjoy working with senior stakeholders to drive strategic transformation and programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support PMO and transformation programmes across planning, governance, risk management, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Conduct operating model, process, and organisational reviews, and contribute to transformation initiatives.
  • Develop policies, governance frameworks, management reports, and project documentation.
  • Track project progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
  • Facilitate workshops, steering committees, and stakeholder discussions across business functions.
  • Prepare executive presentations, status updates, business cases, and decision papers.
  • Support business development activities, including proposals, RFP responses, and market research.
  • Manage workstream deliverables and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve programme outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Banking, Management, Risk, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, PMO, business transformation, governance, risk management, or financial services.
  • Experience in operating model transformation, process improvement, business analysis, governance, and policy development.
  • Strong presentation, reporting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Prior experience within banking or financial services transformation programmes is highly preferred.

Preferred Experience

  • Programme governance, risk and compliance, operating model transformation, or large-scale change initiatives.
  • Exposure to regional or international project environments.
  • Experience supporting proposals, RFPs, and business development activities.
