About LSBF

As we continue to strengthen our brand presence and engagement with students, alumni, corporate partners and the wider community, we are looking for a creative and digitally savvy Content Creator & Digital Storyteller to join our team.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly creative individual who can bring stories to life through photography, videography and digital content creation.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys creating content from concept to completion. You will be expected to plan, shoot, edit and publish engaging content that strengthens LSBF's brand presence and showcases student life, corporate events, academic activities, awards, achievements and institutional milestones.

The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio, understands current social media trends, possesses excellent photography and video editing skills, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Create engaging short-form and long-form content for social media, websites, campaigns and corporate communications.
  • Develop creative concepts and storyboards aligned with LSBF's brand objectives.
  • Produce compelling visual stories that resonate with students, alumni, partners and stakeholders.
  • Support branding campaigns, institutional initiatives and special projects.

Photography & Videography

  • Capture high-quality photographs and videos for events, graduations, corporate activities, campus life and interviews.
  • Conduct photography and videography shoots independently.
  • Select, edit and retouch images to professional standards.
  • Manage lighting, framing, composition and audio requirements to ensure quality content.

Video Editing & Production

  • Edit videos, reels, promotional clips, interviews and event highlights.
  • Create content suitable for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and other digital platforms.
  • Ensure content is delivered in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards.

Digital & Social Media Awareness

  • Keep up-to-date with digital trends, social media algorithms and emerging content formats.
  • Recommend fresh and innovative content ideas.
  • Adapt content styles for different audiences and platforms.
  • Monitor engagement and identify opportunities to improve content performance.

Stakeholder & Project Management

  • Work closely with the CEO's Office and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Take ownership of content production from briefing through to final delivery.
  • Be resourceful, proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills

  • Strong photography skills with a good understanding of composition, lighting and visual storytelling.
  • Strong videography and video editing skills.
  • Excellent creative eye and aesthetic judgement.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends and digital content.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working under tight deadlines and fast turnaround requirements.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

Technical Skills

Candidates should be proficient in some or most of the following:

  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Lightroom
  • Adobe After Effects
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • DaVinci Resolve
  • Canva Pro
  • CapCut
  • Final Cut Pro

Equipment Knowledge

  • DSLR and/or Mirrorless Cameras (Canon, Sony, Nikon, Fujifilm or equivalent)
  • Professional photography techniques
  • Lighting equipment
  • Audio recording equipment
  • Mobile content creation tools

Qualifications

  • Diploma, Degree or relevant practical experience in Media, Communications, Design, Film, Marketing or related disciplines.
  • Fresh graduates with strong portfolios are encouraged to apply.
  • Relevant experience in content creation, social media, photography, videography or digital marketing is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience within education, media, agency, creative or digital environments is a plus.
