Contract Project Engineer – Food Manufacturing

Location: Hybrid Employment Type: Contract (Conversion Potential)

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support an upcoming engineering project at a food manufacturing facility in Jurong.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise mechanical installation works on site
  • Manage contractors, suppliers and daily site activities
  • Review drawings, equipment layouts and technical specifications
  • Monitor project schedule, quality and progress
  • Coordinate with the client’s engineering, production and EHS teams
  • Support installation, testing, commissioning and project handover
  • Ensure works comply with site safety and permit requirements
  • Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 3–5 years of project/site engineering experience
  • Experience in food, FMCG or process manufacturing environments preferred
  • Good understanding of mechanical equipment, piping and installation works
  • Strong contractor coordination and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and be hands-on at site
  • Experience with pneumatic conveying, powder handling or bulk-material systems will be an advantage

Contract Duration: November 2026 to October 2027 with extension potential.
