The posting

We are looking for a proactive Corporate Action Analyst (Asset Services). In this role, you will have exposure to various stakeholders, including Traders, Stock Loan counterparties and Clients daily for managing tasks such as Corporate Actions Election management, handling client queries, and break resolution. .

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end processing of Equity and Fixed Income corporate action events in an accurate and timely manner, strictly adhering to departmental SLAs and risk control frameworks.
  • Manage key relationships with traders, stock loan counterparties, and clients to resolve queries and address corporate action issues promptly.
  • Perform daily account reconciliations, identifying and resolving cash and stock breaks to minimize operational risk exposure.
  • Support operational changes by assisting in the design and implementation of optimized workflows and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in departmental project initiatives and complete ad-hoc operational tasks to support business growth and system enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma with a strong academic background; prior financial industry experience with Corporate Actions knowledge is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to prioritize heavy workloads, multi-task efficiently, and meet tight operational deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to function both as an effective team player and alongside diverse stakeholders.
  • Proactive, highly self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision to solve complex operational issues.
  • Highly organized with a flexible, adaptable approach to handling changing priorities and dynamic business requirements.
