Corporate Banking Credit Analyst – Large Chinese Corporates
Role Overview
Support the credit assessment and management of a portfolio of large Chinese corporates and corporate groups, working closely with Relationship Managers and the Corporate Banking team.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse financial performance, cash flow, leverage, liquidity and overall creditworthiness.
- Conduct credit assessments, annual reviews and facility renewals.
- Prepare credit proposals and recommendations for approval.
- Assess lending structures, facilities, covenants and key credit risks.
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging risks or early warning indicators.
- Partner with Relationship Managers on client requirements and transactions.
- Ensure credit decisions are aligned with the Bank’s risk appetite and policies.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics or related discipline.
- 1–5 years’ experience in corporate credit, credit risk or corporate banking.
- Experience covering large corporates / conglomerates preferred.
- Strong financial analysis and credit writing skills.
- Good understanding of corporate banking and lending products.
- Strong commercial judgement and stakeholder management skills.
