Job Overview

We are seeking an executive leader to manage our Singapore operations and drive commercial growth across South East Asia (SEA) in the semiconductor and high-purity markets. In this role, you will own the entity’s P&L, qualify high-purity filtration products with major semiconductor fabs and chemical suppliers, build cleanroom-compatible channel strategies, and rebuild our local sales and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Entity Leadership & P&L Management: Own the Singapore entity's business plan, budget, and overall performance (revenue, gross margin, operating cost, and profitability). Define the commercial strategy for Singapore as the regional SEA hub and represent the company to clients, partners, and government bodies.
  • Semiconductor Market & Fab Qualification: Develop the Singapore semiconductor market targeting fabs and facilities organizations (e.g., Micron, GlobalFoundries, TSMC/SSMC, Infineon, STMicroelectronics, UMC). Drive end-to-end supplier qualification for high-purity filtration products, from technical data packages to trial programs and Approved Supplier List (ASL) entry.
  • Quality & Contamination Control: Establish product credibility in quality-critical environments through cleanroom-compatible positioning, rigorous documentation, strict change control, and disciplined Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) responsiveness.
  • Supply Chain & Channel Integration: Position high-purity filtration products into wet-process chemical delivery systems, Ultra pure Water (UPW) channels, facilities management, and the broader electronic-materials ecosystem (photoresist, specialty gas, slurry, and equipment OEMs).
  • Adjacent Market Expansion: Extend qualified product offerings into high-purity adjacent markets across SEA, including data center cooling, advanced packaging, Li-ion battery electrolytes, and high-purity fine chemicals.
  • Customer Quality Interface: Own quality communications including supplier audits, CAPA follow-through, change notifications, lot traceability, and performance reporting (particle counts, extractables, TOC). Translate client protocols into actionable specifications for HQ R&D and manufacturing.
  • Regional Channel Strategy: Design and execute the SEA channel strategy (direct, distributor, agent) with focus on high-purity handling and cleanroom-compatible logistics. Build recurring replacement-cartridge business across installed systems.
  • Key Account Leadership & Team Building: Personally own top key account relationships (process engineering, facilities, procurement, SQE). Recruit, coach, and develop the local Singapore sales, application engineering, and support staff.
  • HQ Alignment & Market Intelligence: Serve as the strategic bridge between Singapore customers and China HQ regarding technical escalations, delivery commitments, and commercial terms. Feed market intelligence back to HQ.
  • Sales Cycle & Compliance Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from enquiry screening and technical clarifications to commercial proposals and contract negotiations while maintaining full entity compliance.

Requirements & Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

  • Industry Experience: 12–15+ years of industrial B2B technical sales/business development experience, with at least 8 years in filtration, high-purity fluid handling, electronic chemicals, or adjacent process equipment serving the electronics/semiconductor industry. Strong technical fluency in contamination control, filtration media, ratings, and particle/TOC/extractables performance.
  • Market Track Record: Demonstrated track record of business development in Singapore and SEA semiconductor markets (selling to fabs, chemical suppliers, or facilities supply chains).
  • Industry Network: Existing working relationships with accounts such as Micron, GlobalFoundries, TSMC/SSMC, Infineon, STMicroelectronics, UMC, or the wet-chemical, UPW, and FM/AMC ecosystems serving fabs in Singapore.
  • Quality & Qualification Mastery: Hands-on experience with semiconductor supplier qualification protocols (audits, change control, CAPA, lot traceability, documentation discipline). Proven track record of carrying products through fab qualification.
  • Channel Management: Proven experience appointing and managing SEA distributors and channel partners with measurable outcomes.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years leading a commercial sales and engineering team with a record of talent recruitment, development, and retention.
  • Education & Languages: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Materials, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Fluent business English. Working proficiency in Mandarin is a strong advantage for daily collaboration with China HQ.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within or alongside China-based equipment manufacturers, understanding cross-border operations and stakeholder management between HQ and international markets.
  • Direct P&L or country-level commercial management experience within a principal/manufacturer setup.
  • Direct experience taking a filtration or fluid-handling product through complete fab qualification to ASL listing and volume production.
  • Strong familiarity with high-purity chemistry vocabulary (particle shedding, extractables, TOC, wet-bench chemistry, UPW specifications, ISO cleanroom classifications).
  • Existing professional network within Singapore’s electronics ecosystem (e.g., EDB, SSIA, fab facilities management).

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
