About the Role We are hiring a Customer Service Executive for a strata management client. You'll make sure homeowners have a smooth experience when they collect their keys and when defects are fixed afterwards. You'll be their main contact person, working between owners, the developer and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Handover
- Inspect units before handover and record any defects.
- Follow up with contractors so defects are fixed on time.
- Update the developer on progress regularly.
- Prepare handover kits and documents for owners.
Unit Handover
- Plan handover schedules and appointments with the developer.
- Walk owners through their units and answer questions about fittings and finishes.
- Keep handover records accurate and send the developer daily status reports.
Defects Management
- Be the main contact between owners and contractors for defect reports and repairs.
- Track repairs against agreed timelines and arrange sign-off when work is done.
- Keep logs of keys, access cards and unit access during repairs.
Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience in unit handover, defects management or strata/property management.
- Organised and detail-oriented, able to handle many units and tasks at once.
- Able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication and customer service skills, and calm when dealing with difficult owners.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowing MS Office (Excel) or defects-tracking apps is an advantage.
