Role Summary

Our client is seeking a Debit Cards Product Manager responsible for the end-to-end management of the client bank’s debit card portfolio, driving product strategy, customer value proposition, commercial performance, and operational excellence.

The role will support the full product lifecycle, from product development and enhancement to portfolio optimization, customer acquisition, engagement, and profitability. Working closely with cross-functional teams across marketing, digital, operations, risk, compliance, technology, and external partners, the incumbent will identify growth opportunities, enhance customer experiences, implement process improvements, and ensure the delivery of market-leading debit card solutions that support the bank's consumer banking objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for debit card offerings, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and market demands.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop optimised processes to ensure successful ongoing management of the debit card products.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analyse customer feedback to identify needs and opportunities for product enhancements.
  • Monitor key performance metrics, use data to drive decision-making and implement strategies to improve overall customer experience and drive profitability.
  • Oversee the budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and tracking.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or relevant fields.
  • At least 3-5 years of work experience in product management, preferably in the cards industry.
  • Ability to interpret data and with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Meticulous in ensuring accuracy and compliance standards are met with minimal risk.
  • Effective verbal and written communication to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Demonstrate strong presentation skills.
  • Understanding of customer’s needs to ensure operational processes enhance service delivery.
  • Strong skills in identifying problems and developing effective solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in creating process maps and flowcharts to visualise workflows.
  • Able to manage a diverse range of stakeholders (both internal and external) across business, operations, technology and schemes.
