Position: Deputy Contracts Manager

Working Week: Monday – Friday, 5 Days per Week

Salary: Upto SGD 10,000 per Month

Eligibility: Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Singapore.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Contracts Manager in overseeing contract administration, commercial management and cost control throughout the construction project lifecycle.
  • Manage subcontract procurement, tender evaluations, contract negotiations and subcontract administration.
  • Oversee progress claims, variations, cost assessments and final accounts, ensuring accurate and timely commercial reporting.
  • Review and administer contractual obligations, payment certifications, extension-of-time claims and contractual correspondence.
  • Coordinate with project teams, consultants, subcontractors and clients to resolve commercial and contractual matters.
  • Support the Contracts Manager in commercial risk management, cost forecasting, claims management and project financial performance.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant Quantity Surveying / Contracts Management experience in building construction projects.
  • Strong experience in contract administration, subcontract management, cost control, variations, claims and final accounts.
  • Experience working with an A1/Main Contractor in Singapore is strongly preferred.
  • Experience on major Hotels, Commercial, Residential or Mixed-Use projects will be advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore construction contracts, contractual procedures and commercial management, with good leadership, negotiation and stakeholder-management capabilities.
