DevSecOps Engineer (AWS)

About the role

We are hiring a DevSecOps Engineer (AWS) to build and run enterprise-grade, cloud-native applications on AWS for a regulated-sector programme in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, deploy and support cloud-native applications and infrastructure on AWS
  • Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code and automation using Terraform, Ansible or equivalent
  • Run containerised workloads with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Own GitLab workflows and CI/CD pipelines with built-in security controls
  • Implement monitoring, logging and observability for platform reliability
  • Lead vulnerability management, security assessments, system hardening and remediation
  • Support incident response and day-to-day operations

What you will bring

  • 4 to 7 years of DevSecOps / cloud engineering experience
  • SDLC, CI/CD, TDD and DevSecOps practices
  • AWS (IAM, networking, monitoring, container platforms, security services)
  • Two or more of Bash, PowerShell, Python, JavaScript or Java
  • Terraform, Ansible or equivalent
  • Docker and Kubernetes
  • GitLab and CI/CD platforms
  • Prometheus, Helm, ArgoCD, Istio, Gatekeeper, Crossplane
  • HashiCorp Vault, Tenable, Fortify, Sonatype Nexus IQ
  • Vulnerability management and system hardening
  • GCC environment experience is an advantage
  • Government or regulated environment experience preferred

Qualifications & certifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT or related field

Work arrangement

  • Location: Singapore, on-site at client premises
  • Employment type: Contract / Permanent / Full Time
  • Working days: Monday to Friday
  • The successful candidate must be able to obtain the required government security clearance before starting
  • Candidates with existing CAT security clearance will be preferred
