Position Overview

The Director of AI Consulting will lead and build the organization’s end-to-end AI consulting function, with overall responsibility for AI consulting strategy, client engagement, solution development, delivery excellence, and team leadership.

This role serves as the bridge between business strategy, AI technology, data, and implementation. The Director will work closely with senior business stakeholders to identify high-value AI opportunities, translate business challenges into actionable AI strategies and solutions, and lead multidisciplinary teams from initial discovery and use-case definition through solution design, implementation, adoption, and value realization.

The successful candidate will combine strong management consulting capabilities, AI expertise, commercial acumen, and organizational leadership, with the ability to engage executive stakeholders while also providing direction to technical and delivery teams.

  • Serve as a trusted AI advisor to senior executives and business leaders.
  • Lead executive-level discussions to understand strategic priorities, operational challenges, and transformation objectives.
  • Advise stakeholders on AI strategy, AI operating models, investment priorities, capability development, and transformation roadmaps.
  • Translate complex AI technologies into clear business implications, opportunities, risks, and investment decisions.
  • Facilitate executive workshops, AI strategy sessions, ideation workshops, and use-case prioritization exercises.

3. AI Opportunity Identification & Use-Case Development

  • Lead structured assessments to identify business processes and functions where AI can create measurable value.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise or business-unit AI use-case portfolios.
  • Evaluate opportunities based on strategic value, feasibility, data readiness, implementation complexity, risk, and expected ROI.

  • Ensure proposed solutions balance business value, technical feasibility, scalability, security, compliance, user experience, and cost.

5. End-to-End AI Program Delivery

  • Provide leadership and governance across the full AI consulting lifecycle:

Discover → Assess → Prioritize → Design → Prototype → Implement → Deploy → Adopt → Scale → Measure Value

  • Oversee multiple AI consulting engagements and transformation programs simultaneously.
  • Establish appropriate program governance, milestones, quality standards, risk management, and executive reporting.
  • Resolve strategic, organizational, and delivery challenges that could impact program outcomes.
  • Ensure AI initiatives move beyond proof-of-concept and deliver sustainable business impact at scale.

  • Help business stakeholders understand and manage the risks associated with enterprise AI adoption.

7. AI Adoption & Business Transformation

  • Drive organizational adoption of AI solutions, not simply technical implementation.
  • Work with business leaders to redesign workflows and operating models around new AI capabilities.
  • Develop change-management, communication, training, and capability-building strategies.
  • Identify barriers to adoption and establish plans to increase utilization and realized value.
  • Promote an AI-enabled culture and improve AI literacy across the organization.

9. Commercial & Partnership Management

  • Support development of AI consulting propositions, statements of work, engagement models, resource plans, and commercial proposals where applicable.
  • Develop strategic relationships with technology providers, AI platforms, implementation partners, and external consulting organizations.
  • Evaluate build-versus-buy-versus-partner decisions for AI initiatives.
  • Manage external partners to ensure quality, knowledge transfer, delivery performance, and commercial effectiveness.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
