Job Summary

Lead and oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of the 24th Teochew International Convention in December 2027, collaborating with committees, stakeholders, sponsors, and service providers to ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall planning, organisation, and execution of the international convention to achieve successful event delivery
  • Coordinate and manage working committees, vendors, sponsors, and stakeholders to align efforts and resources
  • Oversee logistics, programme coordination, hospitality, and protocol to ensure seamless convention operations
  • Monitor project progress and resource allocation to identify and resolve operational challenges promptly
  • Ensure all preparations and activities meet professional standards and adhere to timelines and budget constraints
  • Communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders to foster collaboration and address issues
  • Manage multiple priorities independently while leading teams under tight deadlines

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Proficiency in Teochew, including speaking and understanding the dialect, to enhance cultural engagement during the convention
