The posting

Micron is expanding its manufacturing footprint in Singapore. The Director, F10 Facilities Construction will lead the construction of the Fab 10 expansion projects, acting as Micron's owner's representative across the full construction lifecycle. The role is accountable for the budget control, schedule and safety performance of the main contractor, the smooth handover of systems to the sustaining team, and ensuring global lessons learnt are built into design. The role leads a multi-discipline construction team and partners closely with site Facilities, Corporate EHS and Global teams to deliver some of the most technically complex cleanroom and manufacturing projects in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Construction Delivery & Main Contractor Performance

  • Manage the construction of the Fab 10 expansions, including budget control, schedule and safety performance of the main contractor.
  • Act as Micron's owner's representative to the General Contractor; drive project controls (cost, schedule, change management) and escalate deviations early with recovery plans.

2. System Handover

  • Work with construction program managers and the sustaining team to ensure smooth handover of systems.
  • Ensure commissioning, documentation and operational readiness meet sustaining-team requirements before turnover.

3. Workforce Safety & Well-being

  • Work with the EHS Construction Program Manager, Corporate EHS team and General Contractor EHS to implement programs that ensure the safety and well-being of the workforce.
  • Drive compliance with Singapore Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations and track leading safety indicators on site.

4. Design Input & Lessons Learnt

  • Work with program managers to enlist Global teams for design input, ensuring lessons learnt are captured and incorporated where applicable during the design phase.
  • Provide buildability and construction-sequencing input during detailed design.

5. Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and develop a multi-discipline team of construction managers, program managers and engineers.
  • Partner with the MSH / Fab 10B construction lead and F10 SPMO to keep standards and resources consistent across the Singapore expansion.
  • Leveraging AI, automation, and advanced analytics to transform construction project delivery, enabling predictive execution, accelerated decision-making, improved productivity, and enhanced cost, schedule, quality, and safety performance across Micron's global semiconductor expansion programs.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Building/Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years of construction experience on large-scale industrial, semiconductor, cleanroom or mission-critical facility projects.
  • 8+ years leading managers and multi-discipline teams.
  • Proven track record delivering large capital projects as owner's representative or main-contractor project lead.

Must-Have Technical Skills

  • Construction management of semiconductor fabs or cleanrooms, including MEP, CSA and process utility systems.
  • Main contractor management and project controls: budget control, scheduling, change orders and claims.
  • Construction safety management under Singapore WSH regulations.
  • Commissioning (L1–L5) and system handover to operations/sustaining teams.

Must-Have Soft Skills

  • Strategic leadership and sound decision-making under schedule and cost pressure.
  • Stakeholder influence across contractors, authorities, site operations and global teams.
  • Clear, structured executive communication.
  • Building and developing high-performing teams.

Highly Desirable / Preferred

  • Construction leadership on greenfield or brownfield semiconductor fab expansions in Singapore or Asia.
  • Familiarity with Singapore authority submissions (e.g., BCA, SCDF, NEA, PUB).
  • Experience applying global design standards and lessons-learnt frameworks across a multi-site network.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration or recognized project management certification (e.g., PMP).

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
