The posting

Lead the strategy and oversee the execution for the Asia Pacific Datacenter Center of Excellence (CoE) and Systems Engineering team, responsible for directly supervising a team of 12 Systems Engineers across the Asia Pacific region. Directly engages in the planning, design, proposals and deployment of large AI clusters and AI factories in the region. Provides technical direction for pre- and/or post-sales support to the sales teams, business partners, and end-users. Responsible for ensuring that account managers (AMs), consultants, and end-users are updated with the latest technical information, with special emphasis on key company solution differentiators. Provide technical support that facilitates the marketing and sales of CommScope products so that corporate goals for quality, growth, market share, and profitability are met.

Responsibilities:

· Recruit, select, manage and develop employees. Make decisions regarding hiring, promotions, salary adjustments, discipline, and any other changes of employee status.

· Responsible for setting, managing, and approving budgets and expenses for the regional SE team, specifically budgets and expenses for business travel, capital and operational expenditures,

· Work with regional sales and marketing leaders to align DC CoE support to business needs to achieve value added customer experience, mapping CommScope systems engineers to the account and opportunity’s location in the territory, define support expectations and action plan for each of the individuals. This will include planning activities and when required travelling to customer facilities with sales and marketing personnel if additional technical expertise is needed. Actively participate in strategic key accounts planning, to align adequate presales technical support and define tactical actions to achieve expected business outcome.

· Directly engage with CxO level stakeholders to provide detailed design and guidance for passive infrastructure in large AI clusters and AI factories.

· Provide feedback to product engineering on current regional market trends and needs, resulting in design features that will improve the marketability of CommScope’s product line. Work closely with regional market managers, and product engineering for the design and development of new products with particular focus around application support. Act as liaison between regional/global customers and manufacturing/engineering by forwarding customer technical requests and coordinating communication and follow-up with customers on results of requests.

· Support the roll out of new products with external presentations focused on the technical differentiation aspects of the product and value proposition.

· Create, enhance, and deliver solutions presentations for end-user customers and consultants geared toward enhancing sales of CommScope’s product lines through discussions of current systems technologies. Contribute new material back to the larger technical community for broader use.

· Support sales and marketing with any media activities. This may include writing articles for publications, assisting with advertising or preparing technical documentation.

· Attend meetings and report on industry standards activity when required.

Requirements:

· Preferably with Bachelor/master’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer or appropriate field with 10 years of relevant experience

· Minimum of 10 years structured cabling system design experience, with demonstrated track record in design and deployment of passive infrastructure for AI clusters and AI factories, including up-to-date knowledge of latest multimode and single mode fiber technologies, including shuffle architecture and components.

· Managerial experience required, preferably 5 years minimum. Must be able to lead, develop, motivate and coach talent.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to establish and maintain relationships at all levels of an organization in a culturally diverse environment.

· Excellent problem-solving skills are important in this role drive for results in addressing customer challenges.

· Detailed understanding of Data Center technologies including GPU systems and their physical media requirements.

· Possess current industry technical certification(preferred) (BICSI RCDD, BICSI DCDC, BICSI OSP, FTTH)

· Computer and office skill required (MS Office, Window Unix OS, Web programming and Database, Visio or CAD Drawing)

· Knowledgeable of local structured cabling standards, building, electrical and data-communication codes and regulations.

· Subject matter expert Cabling Solution and product ranges for Multi-Tenant, Cloud and AI Data Centers.

· Ability to influence, train, and mentor channel partners and system integration partners

· Deal closing skills to assist sales Influence business outcome through product expertise combined with strategic thinking in commercial landscape and building relationship with high level customer decision makers.

· Ability to create and deliver sales and training presentations with confidence and customer-facing skill
