The posting

Our esteemed client in the M&E Engineering industry is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team:

  • Employment Type: 3 years contract
  • Position: Electrical Engineer
  • Location: Islandwide (depends on project’s location)
  • Working Hours: 6 days (Monday to Saturday, Office Hours)
  • Salary Package: Basic + Mobile Allowance + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

  • Translate project requirements into electrical drawings, technical documents, material schedules and engineering calculations for review and approval.
  • Support procurement activities by preparing technical information and coordinating submissions for equipment and materials.
  • Track project milestones, material requirements and work progress, highlighting potential delays or resource constraints.
  • Work with project stakeholders to resolve design discrepancies, coordinate interfaces and keep electrical works aligned with overall construction progress.
  • Verify site installations against approved designs, technical specifications and applicable safety requirements.
  • Identify workmanship issues during site inspections and coordinate the necessary follow-up actions.
  • Assist in developing work procedures and testing plans, and support system verification, commissioning and project close-out.
  • Provide technical updates during project discussions and assist senior team members with engineering and operational matters.

Job Requirements:

  • At least a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering experience, building construction background is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and prepare technical submissions and project documentation.
  • Knowledge of electrical building services and construction practices.
  • Familiar with local codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Able to work in different site locations and adapt to dynamic project environments.
