The posting

Electrical Engineer

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 5:30pm, Saturday: 8:30am to 12:30pm
  • Working Location: Woodlands / Site Office
  • Salary:$3,000 – $5,000 (depending on experience)
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
  • Candidates must have relevant Electrical Engineering / Electrical trade experience
  • Experience in M&E projects, electrical systems, ACMV/HVAC, chiller and air-conditioning systems will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, project requirements and site coordination

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist in the planning, coordination and execution of electrical engineering works for projects
  • Ensure electrical works are carried out according to project specifications, drawings, contract requirements and safety standards
  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and other project teams on electrical works
  • Monitor project progress, site activities and ensure works are completed according to schedule
  • Manage project documentation, claims, variations and subcontractor coordination
  • Review and coordinate electrical drawings, technical requirements and project documentation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and site-related issues where required
  • Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards, regulations and project requirements
  • Attend site meetings and coordinate with the relevant parties to ensure smooth project execution
  • Able to work odd hours / overtime when necessary, depending on project requirements
