The posting

What you'll do:

  • Provide engineering, technical, and site support across assigned projects
  • Prepare and submit tenders, run project kick-off meetings with clients, and coordinate with vendors and customers throughout project execution
  • Liaise with vendors on quotations, specifications, and preliminary drawings, while maintaining close communication with manufacturers and subcontractors
  • Work with sales and technical teams to drive projects toward their objectives
  • Partner closely with the manufacturing team and clients, supporting the full project lifecycle from concept through installation
  • Coordinate with clients and factory to meet factory acceptance test (FAT) schedules
  • Carry out site coordination, site acceptance tests (SAT), and commissioning work
  • Feed field insights back to engineering and factory teams to support new product design and improvements to existing systems
  • Organize client training sessions and hand over to the Life Cycle department for warranty support
  • Stay current with technological developments and emerging trends in the transformer industry
  • Take on additional assignments and projects as directed by the Head of Department

What we're looking for:

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 5 years of hands-on technical experience in transformers, ideally from a construction, process, or plant engineering background
  • Project management skills
  • Strong knowledge of transformers and familiarity with engineering support functions in an industrial environment
  • Switchgear knowledge is an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities
  • Results-driven, able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel overseas for business trips as needed
