About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our plumbing engineering team and oversee the successful delivery of plumbing projects. The role involves managing project execution, technical quality, resource planning, and team performance while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor Project Engineers, Site Engineers, and Supervisors.

Manage plumbing projects from planning through completion.

Review technical drawings, shop drawings, and method statements.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities.

Monitor project schedules, budgets, manpower, and resources.

Resolve technical and operational issues during project execution.

Ensure compliance with PUB, BCA, WSH, and project requirements.

Drive engineering quality, safety, and productivity improvements.

Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 8 years of experience in plumbing, M&E, or building services projects.

At least 3 years of experience in an engineering management or leadership role.

Strong knowledge of plumbing, water supply, drainage, sewerage, and pumping systems.

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to review engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of Singapore construction regulations and authority requirements is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with commercial, residential, industrial, or government projects.

Professional Engineer (PE) qualification is an advantage.

Experience in tendering, cost control, and value engineering.
