Technical Trainer (Semiconductor / Cleanroom Environment)
About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Trainer to deliver technical training programs in both classroom and hands-on practical environments. The successful candidate will leverage their industry experience to train, coach, and support technicians and engineers while ensuring adherence to training standards, safety requirements, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical training sessions through classroom instruction and practical hands-on demonstrations.
- Deliver training in accordance with established training curricula and work instructions.
- Share industry knowledge and practical experience to enhance trainee learning outcomes.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues encountered during training activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance training effectiveness and delivery.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and maintain positive relationships with trainees and stakeholders.
- Assist with training planning, coordination, and administrative activities as required.
- Adhere to all workplace safety policies and procedures while promoting a strong safety culture.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
- Experience working in a Semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience working in cleanroom environments.
- Basic electrical or electronic troubleshooting skills, including the use of test equipment such as multimeters.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to conduct training effectively.
- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Preferred
- Prior experience delivering technical, operational, or equipment training.
- Experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing equipment or operations.
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively with trainees across different experience levels.
