The posting

Job Description:

  • Managing vessel space – ensuring ships are well-utilised across different trade routes
  • Planning cargo allocation – tactical decision-making based on booking development.
  • Monitoring bookings – tracking how quickly space is filling up and adjusting plans when needed
  • Making real-time decisions – prioritising cargo when space is limited or disruptions occur
  • Working with global teams – coordinating with planners, commercial teams, and customer service across regions
  • Handling operational challenges – e.g. delays, transshipment connections, or special cargo requirements
  • Improving performance – supporting KPIs such as vessel utilisation, booking response time, and on-time loading

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in a related discipline.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and other data tools
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work confidently with numbers and identify patterns
