Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Event Manager to lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of company events, promotional activations, corporate functions, and industry showcases. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with internal teams, external vendors, venue partners, and clients to ensure all events are delivered seamlessly, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end event planning, conceptualization, and production for corporate functions, marketing events, and brand activations.
- Develop detailed event proposals, run sheets, floor plans, and operational timelines.
- Source, negotiate with, and manage external vendors, event contractors, caterers, AV production crews, and venue operators.
- Manage event budgets, track project expenditures, and ensure cost efficiency across all deliverables.
- Lead on-site event operations, setup, logistics coordination, backstage management, and post-event tear-down.
- Coordinate crowd management, emergency protocols, and ensure strict compliance with local workplace safety and health (WSH) and public venue regulations.
- Conduct post-event evaluations, compile attendee feedback, and deliver performance review reports to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Recognized diploma or bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Proven track record (minimum 2–3 years) in event planning, operations, project management, or MICE execution.
- Strong project management, negotiation, and vendor coordination capabilities.
- Solid on-site crisis management skills with the ability to troubleshoot operational issues calmly and efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
