Job Description

The Executive (Programme Admissions) supports the delivery of admissions, programme administration and student experience activities for the Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) programme at the National University of Singapore. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating and administering admissions processes, supporting academic and student-related matters, and working closely with faculty, students, prospective students and other stakeholders. He/She also contributes to the continuous improvement of programme operations through the effective use of data, digital tools, AI and automation to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.

1. Admissions Administration

  • Support the end-to-end admissions process for the Business Analytics Masters programme, including evaluating applicants, processing applications and supporting admissions decisions in accordance with programme and university requirements.
  • Coordinate with faculty members and relevant stakeholders on applicant evaluation, interviews and admissions decisions.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to prospective students and applicants on admissions and programme-related matters.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate admissions records, statistics and application data.
  • Prepare admissions reports and analyze application, conversion and enrolment trends to support admissions planning and decision-making.
  • Review and improve admissions processes, workflows and systems to enhance operational efficiency, data accuracy and applicant experience.
  • Support the planning and implementation of local and international admissions outreach activities, information sessions and recruitment initiatives, as required.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support admissions and recruitment activities and strengthen the Business Analytics Masters programme outreach and visibility.

2. Support and execute student events and activities for the Business Analytics Masters programme

  • Plan, coordinate and execute student events and activities for the Business Analytics Masters programme, including orientation programmes, networking events and other student engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate event logistics and work closely with students, faculty, vendors and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of activities.
  • Support initiatives that enhance student engagement, community building and the overall student experience.
  • Gather feedback from students and stakeholders and contribute to the continuous improvement of student activities and engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • University Degree holder
  • Enjoys meeting people, engaging with students and stakeholders, and organising activities
  • Mature, responsible and meticulous, with a high level of discretion, integrity and professionalism
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with good business acumen
  • A strong team player who works well with others, contributes positively to the team and can collaborate effectively with colleagues and diverse stakeholders
  • Able to work independently, take initiative and exercise good judgement when handling responsibilities
  • Resourceful, adaptable and able to multitask and work effectively under tight deadlines and pressure
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • Eager to learn and adapt to new technologies, systems and digital tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with strong competency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power BI, Power Automate and Power Apps would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their practical application in administrative, analytical and workflow processes would be an advantage
