About SINDA:
The Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA) is a self-help group dedicated to uplifting the Singapore Indian community through education, youth development, and community engagement programmes.
Role Summary:
The Executive will support the planning and delivery of youth mentoring programmes by managing IT-enabled solutions, tracking performance, and preparing management reports. This role will assist the Division Manager with administrative coordination, timely submissions, stakeholder engagement, and participant development, using data insights to strengthen programme operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Mentoring and Participant Engagement
- Manage the Mentoring Programme, including matching mentors with mentees and monitoring participation and progress
- Coordinate mentoring sessions and activities for the Mentor Me initiative
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners and volunteer mentors
- Monitor participant development and keep mentoring records up to date
- Collect feedback and use it to improve programme effectiveness
- Provide administrative and operational support for mentoring programmes
2. Programme Administration and Digital Operations
- Lead digital programme initiatives from planning and rollout through optimisation
- Manage IT-enabled solutions that support youth programmes and operations
- Develop programme KPIs and maintain performance dashboards
- Prepare and consolidate reports for the Management
- Ensure accurate data, meaningful insights, and timely reporting
- Work with internal teams to improve systems and processes
- Support digital transformation across youth programmes
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in a relevant discipline preferably Psychology, Sociology with 1–2 years of experience in programme coordination, operations, or administration
- Demonstrated ability to engage and manage diverse groups of stakeholders to ensure smooth programme delivery and prompt resolution of operational issues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Excel dashboards, Power BI, Tableau) will be considered an added advantage
- Good organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Availability to work weekday evenings and Saturdays to support programmes, outreach activities, and events, with approved additional hours compensated through time off in lieu in accordance with organisational policies
- Flexibility to support organisation-wide SINDA events and initiatives, including occasional work outside regular office hours
