The posting

We are looking for a hands-on Finance cum HR Assistant Manager / Manager to manage the company’s finance, HR and general administration functions.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting

  • Oversee daily accounting team of 3, AP/AR and monthly financial reporting.
  • Prepare/review P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports for a business of approximately
  • Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliation, payments and collections.
  • Handle GST, corporate tax, CPF and other statutory submissions.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents and company secretary.
  • Review project billing, tender claims and progress claims, including supporting documents and project completion status.

HR & Payroll

  • Manage recruitment, interviews, onboarding and staff documentation.
  • Handle employee relations and staff-related matters.
  • Coordinate annual performance appraisals.
  • Ensure compliance with MOM and Singapore employment requirements.
  • Oversee monthly payroll for approximately 70 employees using Timesoft PRO, including CPF and employee benefits.

Office Administration & Compliance

  • Oversee general office administration, insurance, licences, contracts and office facilities.
  • Maintain proper HR, finance and corporate records.
  • Ensure documents are properly maintained for audits and statutory requirements.
  • Provide management with regular updates on finance, HR, payroll and administrative matters.
  • Support Directors in improving processes, controls and operational efficiency.
  • Handle other ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate

  • Hands-on and comfortable managing both Finance and HR functions.
  • Strong accounting and financial reporting experience.
  • Good knowledge of Singapore statutory and employment requirements.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organised, meticulous and able to work independently.
  • Experience in a project-based / construction-related environment with tender claims and project billing would be an advantage.
