About the role
Lead and manage the Group Finance team and oversee the full spectrum of finance, accounting, treasury, taxation, audit, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, Board reports, and SGX announcements. Lead the end-to-end financial aspects of major investment and acquisition projects, including project evaluation, due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, financing, funding arrangements, and transaction execution. Serve as Company Secretary and ensure proper corporate governance and statutory compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review SGX announcements and ensure compliance with relevant financial and regulatory requirements
- Liaise with auditors, bankers, legal advisers, and other professional parties
- Support acquisitions and injection of projects/assets into the listed company, including financial structuring, funding, transaction modelling, and related corporate exercises
- Develop and evaluate financing structures for large-scale projects and acquisitions, including debt, equity, and other funding options
- Perform financial modelling, feasibility analysis, ROI, IRR, NPV, sensitivity, and scenario analysis for investment and acquisition opportunities
- Monitor investment and project performance against approved budgets, assumptions, and targeted returns
- Provide regular financial, investment, and transaction updates to the Chairman, CEO, and Board
About you
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 5 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in a senior financial management role
- Hands-on experience managing the finance function of a Singapore-listed company
- Proven experience in the full lifecycle of investment, acquisition, and financing transactions within a listed-company environment
- Strong experience in project financing, acquisition financing, financial structuring, valuation, due diligence, and financial modelling
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, corporate governance, and internal controls
