Fleet Executive (Onsite Operations)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day fleet operations for prime movers, trailers and trucks.
- Attend vehicle breakdowns and urgent issues onsite, and coordinate with workshops, towing providers and vendors.
- Conduct and coordinate vehicle inspections, repairs, servicing and handovers.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance and follow up on repair progress and completion.
- Coordinate vehicle deployment, replacement and collection with operations.
- Liaise with workshops, inspection centres, insurance parties and other fleet-related vendors.
- Provide regular updates on vehicle status, breakdowns, repairs and operational issues.
- Support other fleet-related operational matters as required.
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering, Automotive, Logistics or a related field preferred.
- 2–3 years’ experience in fleet management, vehicle operations, transport or the automotive industry.
- Experience handling prime movers and trailers is an advantage.
- Able to attend onsite vehicle breakdowns and inspections when required. Company vehicle provided for work-related travel.
- Valid Class 3 driving licence (or equivalent) is required for driving the company vehicle.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Able to coordinate effectively with internal departments, drivers, vendors, workshops and other stakeholders.
- Able to work independently and follow up on pending matters effectively.
