Role Overview

We are seeking a highly driven, aggressively hands-on Operations Manager to take absolute ownership of our FMCG supply chain and daily operations. You will serve as the operational anchor for our beverage distribution network while playing a critical role in transforming our business through advanced AI architectures and workflow automation.

This is not a desk job for a delegator. This role requires a commander on the floor who enforces strict operational discipline, solves complex logistical bottlenecks in real-time, and drives tech adoption from the ground up. You must lead with a firm, command-and-control style. We operate in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment where excuses are not accepted; only solutions and results matter.

Core Responsibilities

1. Operational Command & Problem Solving

  • Absolute Ownership: Take full control of daily FMCG operations, including warehousing, inventory rotation, fleet routing, and order fulfillment.
  • Rapid Troubleshooting: Act as the ultimate escalation point for operational failures. Diagnose root causes on the floor and implement immediate, permanent fixes.
  • Uncompromising Execution: Enforce strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensure zero tolerance for operational slippage, delayed deliveries, or inventory discrepancies.

2. AI & Technology Transformation

  • Tech Deployment: Partner with the executive team to roll out next-generation technology, including AI platforms, agentic workflows, and automated system architectures across the operations department.
  • Systems Integration: Bridge the gap between physical FMCG operations and digital infrastructure. Translate operational workflows into logical frameworks that can be automated (e.g., integrating ERPs with database management and AI tools).
  • Digital Enforcement: Mandate and track the adoption of new technologies among warehouse and delivery staff, ensuring the operational floor evolves alongside our tech capabilities.

3. Strict, Solutions-Oriented Leadership

  • Command and Control: Lead the operations team with unquestioned authority and crystal-clear directives. Set non-negotiable standards for performance, punctuality, and output.
  • Zero-Excuses Culture: Cultivate a hyper-accountable environment. Train the team to bring forward actionable solutions rather than reasons for failure.
  • Performance Management: Swiftly and firmly address underperformance. Reward extreme ownership and technical competence.

Required Qualifications & Traits

  • Experience: Proven track record in FMCG operations, logistics, or supply chain management (experience in beverage distribution, fast-moving consumer goods, or high-volume environments is highly preferred).
  • Advanced IT Literacy: Superb technical fluency. You must be deeply comfortable navigating complex software ecosystems, relational databases, ERP systems, and workflow automation tools. An active interest in AI applications and system integrations is mandatory.
  • Leadership DNA: Exceptional command presence. You are authoritative, direct, and comfortable making hard decisions quickly without needing consensus.
  • Analytical Problem Solver: Highly logical and quantitative. You break down complex operational disasters into solvable, step-by-step technical or physical actions.
  • Hands-On Mentality: Willing to step onto the warehouse floor, audit the inventory personally, or troubleshoot a software glitch alongside the IT team to get the job done.
