📢 Food Lab Assistant

  • 💰 Salary: $2,300/month
  • 📅 Contract Duration: 10 months, with two further 9-month extension options
  • 🗓️ Contract Period: 4 January 2027 – 29 October 2027

⏰ Working Hours:

  • Monday–Friday: 7:30am–4:30pm
  • Includes a 1-hour lunch break.
  • No service required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays, the first three weeks of June school holidays, November and December school holidays, Youth Day, Teachers’ Day and its eve, National Day eve, Thanksgiving, and the TAPC.

🎓 Job Requirements

  • Minimum GCE N-Level qualification, with the ability to understand instructions and communicate in simple English.
  • Valid WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 or higher certification throughout the contract period.
  • Knowledge of food preparation and safety.
  • At least 1 year of relevant food-handling experience.

📋 Job Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers with preparing crockery and ingredients for cookery lessons.
  • Distribute crockery and ingredients to students during lessons.
  • Clean and properly store equipment and crockery after lessons.
  • Keep tables and floors clean after each lesson and at the end of the day.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising department.
