Job Responsibilities

  • Operate forklift safely and efficiently within the worksite
  • Open and close kerbs or barriers
  • Attend to all liner vessels and carry out allocated jobs
  • Support vessel operations and cargo-handling activities as assigned
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and operations team
  • Ensure all forklift operations are carried out safely and according to workplace procedures

Requirements

  • Valid forklift licence/certification
  • 5 years of forklift operating experience preferred
  • Able to work in a port/vessel environment
  • Physically fit and able to perform operational duties
  • Responsible, safety-conscious and able to follow instructions
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required
