Description

The Application developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business applications while leveraging AI, Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI, and automation technologies to drive operational efficiency and digital transformation.

This role requires a combination of strong software development skills, AI knowledge, business process understanding, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across various functions.

Responsibilities

Application Development

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications and software solutions.
  • Build responsive user interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
  • Develop robust back-end services, APIs, and microservices.
  • Integrate applications with ERP, HR, Finance, Project Management, and third-party systems.
  • Perform application troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization.
  • Document system architecture, technical specifications, and development standards

AI Solutions Development

  • Design and implement AI-powered applications, chatbots, virtual assistants, and automation solutions.
  • Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI, Azure Open AI, Claude, Gemini, or equivalent technologies.
  • Develop AI agents and Retrieval-Augmented Generation(RAG) solutions using internal company data.
  • Build AI-powered search, knowledge management, and document analysis applications.
  • Create effective prompts and optimize AI model outputs for business applications.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

Data &Integration

  • Design and manage databases and data pipelines.
  • Develop API integrations between multiple business systems.
  • Work with structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and governance requirements are maintained.

Cloud & DevOps

  • Deploy applications in cloud environments.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Monitor application performance, security, and availability.
  • Manage version control and deployment processes.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with business users, department heads, and IT teams to identify digitalization opportunities, gather requirements and develop solutions.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for existing applications.
  • Conduct user training and knowledge-sharing workshops on AI capabilities and solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant certifications in AI, Cloud Computing, or Software Development are advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in full-stack application development experience
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience implementing AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI solutions.
  • Experience developing enterprise-grade applications and system integrations.
  • Proven experience delivering projects from design through deployment and support.
  • Exposure to engineering, construction, manufacturing industry environment (preferred)
  • Good communicator with strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  • Possess strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
  • Positive attitude and able to work well with culturally and geographically diverse teams.

Technical Stack

  • Backend: C#/.NET Core, Node.js, Python(Fast API / Flask)
  • Frontend: React.js, Vue.js or Angular with TypeScript
  • Database: SQL (MS SQL Server/PostgreSQL/MySQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)
  • API design(RESTful), authentication (OAuth2, JWT), containerization (Docker), Git, GitHub Actions
  • AI: Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Open AI / Azure Open AI APIs, Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, NLP (Natural Language Processing), Machine Learning fundamentals
