Full Stack Engineer (AWS)

About the role

We are hiring a Full Stack Engineer (AWS) to build and run enterprise-grade, cloud-native applications on AWS for a regulated-sector programme in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain enterprise-grade web applications across frontend and backend
  • Build responsive, accessible, high-performance user interfaces using component-based architectures and state management
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs, API integrations and microservices
  • Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or SQL Server
  • Apply secure coding practices and contribute to CI/CD pipelines in GitLab
  • Engage stakeholders to clarify requirements and solve problems

What you will bring

  • 4 to 7 years of full stack development experience building enterprise-grade web applications
  • ReactJS, Angular or Vue.js
  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Node.js, Python or Java Spring Boot
  • Responsive design, accessibility and performance optimisation
  • RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • AWS, Docker and Kubernetes
  • PostgreSQL, MySQL or SQL Server
  • GitLab, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Secure coding and application security principles
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Qualifications & certifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT or related field

Work arrangement

  • Location: Singapore, on-site at client premises
  • Employment type: Contract / Permanent / Full Time
  • Working days: Monday to Friday
  • The successful candidate must be able to obtain the required government security clearance before starting
  • Candidates with existing CAT security clearance will be preferred
