Key Responsibilities

Platform Engineering & Knowledge Services

  • Design and develop scalable, reliable, and secure platforms; build and integrate APIs, content management systems, search capabilities, and knowledge services; deliver structured and accessible product information; define interfaces, versioning, error handling, testing strategies, and documentation standards; develop reusable components, services, and abstractions to simplify integrations and accelerate delivery.

Product Discovery & User Experience

  • Develop intuitive user-facing experiences across portal and dashboard platforms; build search, filtering, recommendation, and contextual navigation capabilities; integrate product catalogues, subscriptions, and onboarding workflows; collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate user needs into digital solutions.

Quality, Reliability & Operations

  • Design highly available and resilient platforms; implement monitoring, alerting, service level objectives (SLOs), and usage analytics; identify issues proactively; implement automated testing and deployment strategies that enable reliable and frequent software releases.

Developer & User Enablement

  • Use delivery metrics and user feedback to identify improvement opportunities; create documentation, onboarding materials, and examples; improve adoption and usability; collaborate with UX and product teams to continuously enhance user experience.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with product and tenant teams to understand integration, deployment, and operational requirements; partner with engineering, product, and design teams to shape APIs and user experiences; gather feedback from real-world usage and continuously improve platform capabilities.

Requirements

Education

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer or an equivalent position.
  • Demonstrated ability to build high-quality, secure software.
  • Experience mentoring teammates and helping them deepen their technical capabilities.

Technical Skills

Front-End Development

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and at least one modern web framework such as React, Angular, Vue, or equivalent frameworks.

Back-End Development

  • Experience with Node.js and TypeScript is advantageous; experience with other server-side development languages will also be considered.

Software Engineering

  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to solve abstract technical problems; ability to understand business domains and determine appropriate technical approaches.

AI-Assisted Engineering

  • Experience or willingness to work with AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows, including AI coding assistants, specification-driven development practices, reusable engineering capabilities, and automated review and testing processes.

Personal Attributes

  • Strong ownership and collaboration skills with a track record of working effectively with UX and Product Management teams.
  • Growth mindset with a willingness to share knowledge and learn continuously.
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions and objectively evaluate multiple solution approaches.
  • Strong initiative, communication skills, integrity, and appreciation of the responsibility associated with building critical digital platforms.
