The posting

We are seeking a committed English Teacher to deliver lessons to students across different age groups and proficiency levels. The role focuses on effective classroom instruction, student academic support, and maintaining a positive learning environment. Experience with IELTS, O-Level, IGCSE, and/or A-Level English is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver English lessons based on the assigned syllabus, course requirements, and students' learning needs.
  • Prepare appropriate lesson plans, classroom exercises, assignments, handouts, and other learning resources.
  • Review student progress and identify areas that require additional instruction or academic support.
  • Record and maintain accurate information relating to attendance, assessments, grades, and student performance.
  • Provide additional guidance and practice to students who require further support.
  • Encourage participation and maintain an inclusive classroom environment for students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Provide relevant academic feedback during parent-teacher meetings when required.
  • Communicate with parents or guardians regarding students' learning progress and areas for improvement when necessary.
  • Take part in staff meetings, academic programmes, school activities, and other assigned duties.
  • Respond to work-related emails, internal communications, and messages in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Education, or a related discipline.
  • At least 1–2 years of English teaching experience.
  • Experience teaching IELTS, O-Level, IGCSE, and/or A-Level English is preferred.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English.
  • Good classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to adapt lessons and teaching methods to students with different learning needs.
  • Attend parent-teacher meetings and provide constructive advice regarding students' academic performance and areas for improvement.
