First Konnection is recruiting full time tuition teachers for an established education group with multiple centres across Singapore.
Teach your strongest subject at either Primary or Secondary level, based on your subject knowledge and teaching capability. You do not need to teach both levels or all the subjects listed.
Training and teaching materials are provided. Applicants with private 1-to-1 tuition experience, as well as fresh university graduates with strong subject knowledge and an interest in teaching, are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver clear and engaging lessons
- Familiarise yourself with the curriculum and teaching materials provided
- Encourage student participation and maintain an effective learning environment
- Mark students’ work and monitor their academic progress
- Provide parents with clear and constructive feedback
- Conduct regular classes and occasional relief classes
- Participate in training and curriculum development when required
- Support trial classes, webinars, talks and other education related events
Working Schedule
The standard arrangement is a 5-day working week:
- 3 weekdays: 1:30pm to 9:30pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 9:00am to 6:00pm
- 2 weekday off days
You may indicate your preferred weekday off days. Final allocation will depend on class assignments and operational requirements.
If you cannot meet the standard schedule, please indicate your available working days when applying. Alternative arrangements may be considered case by case, subject to the employer’s assessment and operational requirements. Approval is not guaranteed.
Work Location
- Vacancies are available within the Central, West and North East zones
- You’ll have 1 assigned centre that you report to
- Where possible, the assigned centre will be near your residential area
- Final deployment will depend on manpower requirements
- You may occasionally teach at other centres within your assigned zone during your normal working hours
Requirements
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification
- Strong subject knowledge in at least 1 listed subject
- Able to teach confidently at either Primary or Secondary level
- Good communication and classroom management skills
- Comfortable communicating with students and parents
- Prior teaching experience is preferred, including private 1-to-1 tuition
- For experienced applicants, at least 3 years of relevant teaching experience is preferred
- Familiarity with the Singapore Ministry of Education curriculum is an advantage
- Fresh university graduates with strong subject knowledge and an interest in teaching are welcome to apply
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Able to commit consistently to the agreed working schedule and centre deployment arrangements
