Paints and coatings will be one of NSA’s core marketing pillars and an important area for future growth. The role requires a rare combination of technical expertise, marketing capability and commercial experience, particularly in paints, coatings, adhesives, emulsion polymers, construction chemicals and related application technologies.

Job Description

  • Lead the development and execution of NSA’s regional marketing strategy for Nippon Shokubai Group products in Southeast Asia and India, with paints and coatings positioned as one of the principal growth areas.

  • Work closely with Nippon Shokubai’s R&D, marketing and sales organizations in Japan to translate key regional customers (ASEAN, India and Japan) needs into product development, technical evaluation, sample work and commercialization plans in line with the Group’s strategy.
  • Lead new application exploration, market development and overseas business development projects, and manage a prioritized pipeline of opportunities across ASEAN and India from initial identification through customer evaluation and commercial readiness.
  • Coordinate the handover of commercially qualified opportunities to Nippon Shokubai’s responsible sales organization, which will lead commercial negotiations and enter into sales contracts, while NSA continues to support regional customer and market development.

Job Requirements

  1. A minimum of 20 years of hands-on research and development experience in paints, adhesives, emulsion polymers, construction chemicals or related industries, gained at a globally listed chemical manufacturing company or its overseas subsidiaries.

  3. A minimum of 5 years in a managerial role, leading cross-functional projects and coordinating effectively with R&D, marketing and sales teams in Japan and with customers across the region.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
